Whatever your reasons, if you’re looking to attend one of the top law schools in the country, you’ll have to put your best foot forward in the application process.
The application process
To apply to Yale Law School, you must first take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). The LSAT is a standardized test that is offered four times a year. The test is offered in February, June, September/October, and December. You can register for the LSAT online at www.lsac.org. The LSAT is offered at testing centers around the world. Once you have taken the LSAT, you will need to submit your LSDAS report, which includes your LSAT score, to LSAC.
The next step in the process is to fill out an application through LSAC. You will be asked to provide information about your educational background, employment history, extracurricular activities, and personal statement. You will also be asked to submit your LSDAS report and LSAT score.
Once your application is complete, it will be sent to Yale Law School. Yale Law School uses a “holistic” admissions process. This means that they consider all aspects of your application when making their decision. They are looking for students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic and professional careers and who have a commitment to public service or leadership.
